Daybeam

Privacy Policy

Developer: Nelson Valladares Technology Services LLC • Last updated: July 7, 2026

Daybeam is an offline-first daily planner for adults with ADHD. Everything you put into it stays on your device.

What We Collect

Nothing. Daybeam has no user accounts, no login, no cloud sync, and no backend servers owned by us. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data, and the app includes no analytics or advertising SDKs and no third-party trackers.

DataWhere it livesLeaves your device?
TasksOn your device (local SQLite database)No
RoutinesOn your device (local SQLite database)No
Settings and preferencesOn your device (local SQLite database)No
Reminder contentOn your device (scheduled with the operating system)No

Data never leaves the device through the app.

On-Device Storage

All of your data — tasks, routines, and settings — is stored locally on your device in an on-device SQLite database. We hold no copy of it. If you uninstall the app, all local data is deleted, and we cannot recover it for you.

Notifications and Reminders

Reminders are local notifications: they are scheduled and delivered on your device by the operating system. The content of your reminders is not sent to us or to anyone else.

The One Exception: Contacting Support

The only time any information reaches us is if you voluntarily use the support form on this website. That form emails us the name, email address, and message you type (delivered via Resend, an email service) so we can reply to you. This is entirely user-initiated and separate from the app itself — the app never sends us anything.

Children's Privacy

Daybeam is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect any information from children — and since the app collects no personal data from any user, none is collected from children either.

Security

Because your data never leaves your device, it is protected by your phone's own security — such as your device passcode and the operating system's protections. There is no server-side copy for anyone to breach.

No Medical Claims

Daybeam is a planning tool. It makes no medical claims and is not a medical device.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be included in the next app release and reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
