MyITManager is an IT service management platform. This page covers the SMS text-alert program for authorized staff and operators.
SMS Text Message Alerts
MyITManager, operated by Nelson Valladares (DBA NV Tech IT), a Sole Proprietor, sends SMS text-message alerts to internal staff and operators who have consented to receive them. These alerts relate to IT support tickets and system status in the company's IT management platform. There is no public sign-up — recipients' mobile numbers are added manually by a company administrator after the recipient gives consent.
Information We Collect
For the SMS program we collect and store only:
- The mobile phone numbers of consenting staff and operators, entered manually by an administrator
- A record that the recipient consented to receive alerts
We do not collect location, contacts, or any other personal data through the SMS program.
How We Use Your Number
Mobile numbers are used solely to deliver IT ticket notifications, reply and comment alerts, unacknowledged-ticket reminders, and a periodic summary digest. We do not use them for marketing.
We Do Not Share Your Information
No mobile information will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers are shared only with our SMS delivery provider (Twilio) as strictly necessary to transmit the messages you have opted in to receive.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on IT ticket and system activity.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opt-Out and Help
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; you will then receive no further texts. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact your administrator.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
